As of August 2026, the federal cases are consolidated as MDL No. 3047 (In re Social Media Adolescent Addiction/Personal Injury Products Liability Litigation) before Judge Yvonne Gonzalez Rogers in the Northern District of California, with a parallel California state proceeding (JCCP 5255). TikTok has reportedly settled several early individual cases on confidential terms without admitting liability, including one on the eve of the first bellwether trial in January 2026.
